Despair already!

Hello everyone or nobody!
I feel that I am already starting to despair and I am only at day 4 of this experiment. Today I watched the heaviness of selfishness crush the holiday spirit. An old woman pushing her way to the front of line claiming she had to drive 4 hours home and that she should be to check out first, Merry Christmas!!

I also had a great moment day :) I was on my crutches struggling to open the heavy glass door when a young kid that had left the building came running back to open both doors.  I am totally wrong!! There is still goodness in the next generations..........

Hopefully tomorrow I will find a great person so I can truly do a life changing pay it forward.

Day #2 , again

I did jump start my efforts yesterday by leaving $10.00 at my local coffee house to buy coffee for the next few people and instructed my favorite barrista to explain to each person that they need to remember to do something kind in return for someone :)

Day #2

Well I did not have any encounter today that warranted a pay it forward intervention ):  In fact I mostly only saw people acting very unkind sadly. Maybe it is those people that need a pay it forward the most huh? It is only day 2 and I am already feeling a tad hopeless in regard to this project! If anyone is out there please give me some inspiration!!?

Greetings Everyone OR anyone!

I was sitting around thinking about what the holidays mean to me and what could I do this year in the true spirit of giving.  After much thought I decided to do an experiment based on an old idea "pay it forward." I figured it wont matter what faith you believe in because "pay it forward" is based only on the true act of giving. So for 29 days I will try and "pay it forward" 4 times and blog about my exsperiences.  My hope is that other people will jump on board and blog there own stories along with mine :)
